Who Is The Steve Fund?
The Steve Fund is the nation’s leading organization focused on supporting the mental health and emotional well-being of young people of color.
Working with employers, institutions of higher education, nonprofit pipeline programs, and mental health experts, we build knowledge, cultural understanding and tools to equitably support the mental health and emotional well-being of students and young professionals of color.
Our Purpose
Young people from communities of color have been disproportionately impacted by multiple traumas of the global pandemic, economic impacts, and racial injustice.
Creating safe spaces for consistent and open conversations and acknowledging and addressing the pernicious effects of racism and trauma are essential to achieving mental health equity.
Our Goals
Launch recruitment, onboarding, talent development and wellness strategies that take into account the mental health and wellbeing of young people of color.
Provide research-based tools, strategies and knowledge for young people facing issues such as isolation, lack of belonging and racial trauma.
Center the voices and experiences of young employees of color in all programming.
